ARIV Labs ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ARIV mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

• Professional Information: Employment history, educational background, skills, and certifications provided specifically for resume and cover letter generation.
• Usage Data: We may collect information on how the Service is accessed and used (e.g., button clicks within the app) to improve user experience.

2. How We Use Your Data

ARIV uses the collected data to:

• Generate high-quality, ATS-friendly resumes and cover letters.
• Facilitate the "Find Jobs" feature by matching your profile with relevant listings.
• Provide customer support when you contact jain@getariv.com.
• Monitor the usage of the Service to detect and prevent technical issues.

3. Public Networking Profiles and Resume Data

Our application offers a "Live Web Link" feature that allows users to publish their generated resumes to a custom public URL (hosted on getariv.com).

• Data Collection & Display: If you explicitly opt-in to publish your profile, the data you provide—including your name, contact information, employment history, and professional summary—will be stored securely on our cloud database (Google Firebase) and made accessible to the public via your chosen URL.
• User Control & Deletion: You retain full control over your public data. You may update your public profile at any time by republishing. Furthermore, you can instantly remove your public profile and delete this data from our public-facing database by using the "Take Profile Offline" button located in the App Settings.
• Consent: We will never publish your resume data without your explicit, active consent via the in-app publish button.

4. Data Security and Retention

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption protocols. We retain your Professional Information only for as long as is necessary to provide the services requested by you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Your Data Protection Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you. If you wish to be informed what Personal Data we hold about you or if you want it to be removed from our systems, please contact us.
