Welcome to ARIV. By downloading our mobile application or using the getariv.com website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

ARIV is an AI-powered career assistant that allows users to build ATS-optimized resumes, generate customized cover letters, search for live job postings, and publish professional networking profiles to the web. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or job placements of any kind.

2. Credits and Purchases

Pay-As-You-Go Model: ARIV operates primarily on a credit-based system. Generating resumes, cover letters, or utilizing the AI career tools consumes credits.
Free Credits: New accounts are granted promotional free credits upon signup. These have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded.
Subscriptions: Certain features, such as "ARIV Networking Pro" (Live Web Links), may require an active subscription. If your subscription expires, your public profile will be suspended until renewed, and may be deleted after 12 months of inactivity.

3. Public Web Profiles (ARIV Networking Pro)

If you utilize our web publishing feature to claim a custom URL (getariv.com/yourname):

You grant ARIV permission to host and display the professional data you submit on the public internet.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information and for not including sensitive personal data (like Social Security Numbers or full addresses) in your generated documents.
You may take your profile offline at any time via the settings menu in the mobile app.
ARIV reserves the right to unpublish or reclaim any custom URL if it violates our policies, infringes on a trademark, or uses reserved system names.

4. User Accounts and Data

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated data from our servers at any time using the "Delete Account" button within the app settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Generate fraudulent resumes or false career histories.
Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the AI APIs or Firestore databases.
Claim public URLs (slugs) that impersonate other individuals or entities.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. ARIV relies on third-party Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini) and job aggregator APIs. We do not warrant that the AI-generated text will be perfectly accurate, error-free, or suitable for your specific needs. Users must review all generated content before submitting it to employers.
